Visitors to South Africa must obtain a visa from one of the South African diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries, in which case they get what is called a “Port of Entry Visa” at the time of entry. Visitors who require a visa must apply in person and provide biometric data.
All visitors must hold a passport valid for 1 month after departure and with one blank page (two if a visa is required).
It is important for all delegates travelling from outside of South Africa to take note of the visa requirements to enter South Africa. The onus to obtain a Visa is on the delegate and not on the conference organiser or committee. We will however assist with a letter of invitation for you to include with your visa application.
Visa invitation letters may be requested by delegates at the time of registration. Letters will be issued by email in PDF format once payment and delegated registration has been confirmed. In no way is this letter of invitation a commitment from the conference organisers to provide any financial support.
