Contributing to Sustainable Healthcare

On 25 September  2015, member countries of the United Nations adopted a set of goals aimed at ending poverty, protecting the planet, and ensuring prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda. Each of these goals has specific targets to be achieved over the next 15 years: Goal 3 is to “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages”.

Towards achieving this goal, homeopathy professionals should identify a pathway, and the elements thereof, by which our profession can contribute to the achievement of this goal. These elements include an evaluation of the relevant health care sectors and a vision for the viable use of homeopathy to contribute toward the international achievement of Goal 3 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The hosts of LMHI 2018 therefore invite the submission of abstracts related to any of the range of topics identified below that speak to the theme “CONTRIBUTING TO SUSTAINABLE HEALTHCARE”. In addition, we also welcome other submissions that are suitably motivated to relate directly to the overall theme.

Key questions to be answered as part of the abstract submission would include an identification of:

  • How homeopaths / homeopathy would contribute to the achievement of the goal; and/or
